Blackberry Global Position

Often the head and the heart will lead you in different directions or at least blind you from seeing the truth in the other. I love Blackberry and I love it for what it does for my brain so hopefully I'm being objective. Point is, I love where BB10 is going. I love the stock volatility, I love the NIoOP (Negative Influences of Other People), I love the direction in which RIM is going (albeit late) and most of all I love a comeback story. Here's what I (think) know. Apple has there hands in everything just like Google. They are a global brand who do way more than just make smart phones and their influence runs as deep as their pockets. So all the prognosticators, pundits and other talking heads just do what they're told to protect the bank. RIM doesn't have the clout so they are fighting an uphill battle but with a really big sword. What does all this mean for us? Well, for most, not much but for a few of us it means that we have a chance to get a piece of a really good pie. Stock is affordable, buy some. At worst, you lose a little bit of money but at best you'll make a killing. Android is the walmart of OS, its not so much great OS as it is a really good real estate company that sells tons of mediocre products. Apple on the other hand is the Starbucks of OS which does nothing more than sells slightly above average goods at a premium because of image and great marketing. RIM has a chance to be a real game changer with our support. I'm all in for BB10. I'm there on launch day and putting up reviews on every social media outlet, blog, convo and photo op I can. I know this is a random post from a half sleeping nobody but I really believe in RIM. So I hope all of you out there will help get these muppets on CNBC and others to take their medicine after BB comes back with a bang.
