What would you guys think about a "Trackpad Mode" on a full touch device?
I and many other users conplain a lot, about the text selection. And I myself may not be the biggest fan of legacy devices anymore, but their trackpad was great for manipulating text.
A lot of people say in these forums, that the dropping of the trackpad is not a big issue, because the whole screen now is a trackpad.
Well, as I showered, it came to me:
Why not take that literally?!
Introducing BlackBerry's Trackpad mode:
If activated, you lose something like1/4 of the touchscreen real estate, but can use that part as a touchpad replacement. A cursor appears, and you can use that fourth of the screen like a BlackBerry phone bridged to a PlayBook.

Would an implementation like that work for you guys?
One could make a shortcut for that on the Q10 and would have a perfect substitution for the trackpad.
If this idea is too creative/not practicable please ignore it, and tell me why I failed :D
