BB10 is a cross-platform OS, the only one of its kind, allowing one to sideload Android apps (even unconverted ones with Sacha's tools).
It offers true multitasking, with the option to run headerless apps in later OS versions. Yes, it's a little unstable in its earlier forms, but using leaked OS builds, the future is brighter and better. This is my only phone, so I'm happy enough with the leak install process to trust it to a device I rely on.
And yet people still complain.
You need to jailbreak iOS to get basic customization, yet it still doesn't go as far as BB10.
Nowhere else have I been able to experiment with other OS apps, leaked OS versions and enjoy a hardware system that has everything I need.
I gave up on iOS and don't miss my old iPhone one iota. This was a surprise to most, since I used Apple devices pretty much exclusively (retina Macbook Pro, iPad 4, etc).
I am happy with BB10, despite its wrinkles. It's a fledgling OS, but doing so well for its age.
