So here is the worst case scenario I'm fearing
Q1 of 2014:
- BBRY managed to survive (which is good)
- BBRY presents a new version of BB10, which is 10.3, 10.4 or even 11
- BBRY now supports quad core chipsets and 1080p screens as well as additional features and an OS overhaul
- the new BB version is incompatible to the Q10, Z10 and Q5, because the hardware is outdated again
- the new flagship sports 1080p, 4 Gig of RAM and the Snapdragon 600
The market:
- these years Android phones with similar specs are now 1/2 of the price of the new flagship
- flagship phones are much better speced again
Especially if the bold marked point will be true, the Z10 will finally be my last BBRY phone, although I somehow hate what the competition has to offer currently.
What do you guys think about the probability of this scenario? In percent?
My bet: 50%
