So...another feature suggestion.
I opened a separate thread because I didn't want people to have to go through a million comments for this. Now I'm sure that people have thought of this and suggested it already. I just want to get Crackberry users' opinion:
The quick-settings menu...(as much as I hate mentioning it) the Galaxy S4 has a great little feature there with one finger giving most common options and two fingers giving more options.
I feel that things like NFC, Media Sharing, Device Password, Mass Storage USB, Media Sharing and a screen brightness slider should be in there with an option to add custom features (Located in settings menu) like Mobile Hotspot or Dev mode for those that side-load many apps. Also, the two-finger menu should be available from any app...ANY app, like if you quickly want to enable NFC while looking at a photo etc since admittedly the Battery is good, but not amazing so power-users will want to easily enable/disable features on the fly.
Like the current one, you tap the icon to enable/disable and then tap the word to bring up that settings section.
I think the Two-Finger Swipe-down gesture for the menu should be called the "Super Swipe" - props to MrF for that and the detailed menu should be called the "Super-Settings".
Now there was also a thread in the Beta Zone about a gesture to lock your phone. MrF suggested this Super Swipe from Top to Bottom Bezel. I agree, do you?
Not to mention, this would look DAMN fancy to anybody seeing you do this...it promotes efficiency which is what BB is all about!
