Open day view from week view?

Hi, maybe a silly question but is there a way in the calendar to open a certain day when in the week view?
When I tap the screen, it either shows no reaction or creates a new event (depends on where I tap).

Example: From the week view, I want to see the Saturday events in more detail. When I open the day view, it shows the Monday and have to go to Saturday manually, which is quite a pain.

Is there any gesture (or keyboard shortcut) which allows to open the day view of Saturday directly?
