Two days ago i wanted to get the Q10. In-fact I've been wanting to purchase it for a while to stray away from the Android + iOS ... i decided to go for it and get the q10.
I tend to make a joke to people using Samsung galaxy devices -- Samsung makes refrigerators and i find it ironic that their "theme" on the galaxy devices is water drop sounds. is the refrigerator leaking onto the galaxy ? lol.
my problem right now really is the following:
1) lack of software - still to this point the only thing worth using for instant messaging is "Whatsapp".
Yes BBM is now available for everything but most people dont use it. its those faithful ones who used to use BB and are converts to android+ios that will rush to use it.
Fine. but i really just want viber to work... even though i hate it.
i installed the latest leak which allows you to run APK's directly from the device and they do install. viber gets installed and all but come to make a call and things keep freezing.
2) the browser on this device still sucks. its slow. it has no way to block ads and if you enter a website that has ads... well... you're screwed no matter what leaving you to just give up.
3) there's no workable free "Google maps". was it cancelled?
And that's really it ... I guess since RIM is running on fumes we're not gonna see any software worthwhile?
