Tip: how to return to the current day in your calendar

I don't know if this was in some tutorial or guide somewhere obvious, but I never came across it in my usage until today.

The issue: When I am browsing months ahead in my calendar to manage future appointments I suddenly need to go back to the current day. There is no button to do this specifically. Usually I would just close the calendar app and reopen it (clunky).

Solution: just click one of the three calendar view icons in the bottom left. One click switches the view between day, week or month. The second click changes the calendar to the current day.

In hindsight this seems obvious. But I never came across it. Hope this helps someone.
