Woke up this morning to my precious Z10 in a hung state, the alarm didn't go off as it usually does. When I did wake up and look at the phone , it showed the Alarm screen, with the regular dismiss and snooze options. I tried to dismiss but it wouldn't go away, so I just pressed on the Power Button to restart the phone. Damn Alas and Gadzooks....I was stuck at the Blackberry Logo Boot Screen!!!! Tried battery pulls, sim in and sim outs but nothing worked. Got the phone connected for an OS update using Internet Explorer and did manage to actually get a version of 10.1 installed, but the poor baby just collapsed while the initial setup. So now what I have is a Z10 that won't charge, won't power up, Auto-Loader won't read it nor will Blackberry IE Update. I have searched the forums for "De-Bricking Z10" but all the options I see mention "keep the power button pressed for 10 Seconds till your device turns off, remove the battery, connect to USB, power on and insert battery as soon as the power light comes on" but the overall concept of a "Bricked" Phone implies that the damn thing won't POWER ON!!! Anybody got any tips/comments/help on how I can get my Z10 back on line??? It's an STL 100-1 btw, which I bought from Dubai and I'm pretty sure BB India is not gonna help.....and if at all they do they're gonna ask for a hell lot of money!
