WhatsApp can't seem be of use. It always redirects me for audio calls only; can't install skype due to network error something. Anyone knows an app that let's me call via video and is usable for the latest OS on q10. Thank you

Soundcloud for blackberry not working?
I downloaded soundcloud from BB World and when I try to log in it says no data connection. When I try to log in via fb the fb login page loads (know the internet is working duh) and when I sign in it says no data connection.
Tried switching between mobile data and wi-fi.

Xiaomi to introduce Gesture Based controls.
I knew it could be done, it's just BlackBerry who is lazy or incompetent... gestures are coming to Xiaomi phones, Android BlackBerry when? Probably never.
Also I know the hub can be "integrated" into the launcher so swiping from the left will always bring up the hub the start screen, all of that can be done, they just don't want to e.e

Merging apps from 2 different phones onto a 3rd phone
I've been trying to figure this out for some time, and I need some help.
I have three phones. Let's call them Phones A, B, and C.
Phones A and B, respectively, contain two different applications downloaded from BBW years ago. Let's call them Application 1 and Application 2. Phone A contains Application 1; Phone B contains Application 2. However, Phone A does not contain Application 2, and phone B does not contain Application 1. In other words, each phone (A and B) contains an app which the other does not.
Phone C is a brand-new BB10 device with nothing on it yet.
Using BlackBerry Link or Darcy's BlackBerry Tools, I can easily move either Application 1 OR Application 2 to Phone C by making a backup of either Phone A or Phone B and restoring it onto Phone C. However, I cannot get Application 1 AND Application 2 onto Phone C, because each time I restore from Phone A or Phone B to Phone C, it wipes the application already imported from the other phone.
Is there any way to get Application 1 AND Application 2 onto Phone C?

Hello all,
I have a Passport SE, and am running the Whatsapp apk version 2.17.427
I have used the WhatsFixer, and now I can send photos, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to send videos.
The green circles gets half way, and then the usual "Failed to process video, please try again later. If you keep seeing this message, please restart your phone" message comes up.
Have tried the trimming frames suggested trick, no luck.
Any help? I would really like to fix this just like I have for all the other android apps that are now running smoothly.

Latest WhatsApp version increases significantly the battery consumption in my BlackBerry Passport
I have installed the the official WhatsApp Android version plus the WhatsFixer in my BlackBerry Passport.
Now, if I update to the latest WhatsApp apk version, that functions better, the native "Android Player" and WhatsApp apk consume much more the battery!
So, should I NEVER UPDATE the apk?

Why doesn't android apps work anymore?
I use a BB Z10 with 10.2.1 version. Android apps used to work fine on my phone before. But after installing an app called 'Blackberry Runtime for Android' from Blackberry world, none of the apps work anymore. They just won't open. I used Security Wipe option 3 times but on closer inspection I found that I can't even install android apps anymore, let alone working. After clicking the apk file, it just gets stuck at the processing screen forever. In the app description they said reboot phone after installation of the app, but I didn't do it, it tried opening that app instead of restarting the phone. The non working thing happened after that.
Please guys, help me out. Help me remove this app from my phone and help me install and open android apps like before. I have too much stuff in this phone to change into a new phone. :crying:

Why can't you change the app's permission preferences in Android ported apps?
Hi,
Why is that you can't change the permissions in the Android apps, the buttons always appear grey.
Has it something to do with the Android runtime environment?
Is there a way to do something about that? Options in code somewhere?

Since today my Passport and my Classic give the information: "Cannot connect to BlackBerry Guardian Server" (BlackBerry's Trend Micro security check) when installing an app from Google Play Store, so I must check it for virus manually with another virus scanner. Anybody knows the reason?
