My Q10 pulled a no powering up shenanigan yesterday
Worst 18 hours of my life
Good thing I had read about pulling the battery and leaving it out overnight (from you guys here on CB) ..and then plugging it back in the following morning.
Trusty little sidekick did just that. I've never been this happy to see a red light 😆

Monitoring processes
Hello everybody.
Is there any way to monitor what is going on or wrong with some ongoing tasks? LIke trying to make calls with a BB Classic and not managing it. All it shows is a generic message like: Call failure "That call could not be connected. Please try again later" :huh:
Apparently not my provider's fault.

Not just failing apps: failing websites too
Oh dear: things are getting worse.
The default browser is horribly slow: I can live with it for all that we love about the BlackBerry. Actually I'm using it more and more to replace apps, as they fail.
But I can't get anywhere with (just for example)
XE Currency
CNN "Read More"
Kindle Cloud Reader
Reuters
Fantastic Fiction
(I know, the last is niche, but it's another example.)
Any stories of your own? Cures? Can Firefox be rendered the default?

"Telegram won't run unless you update Google Play services"
Hi, I'm using a Q10 with software release 10.3.3.1463.
Few months ago I discovered the "Cobalt's official Google Apps landing page" thread and installed the Google Play Services on my phone following the guide.
Thanks to Cobal I could finally use apps like youtube, google maps and the location tool in Telegram (to send current position and live position).
Few weeks ago, as a result of the new Telegram update (I don't remember the version), I had the error message "Telegram won't run unless you update Google Play services" when first opening the app after the update. However the app still opened and worked so I ignored the message.
Later I tried using the location tool in Telegram but it didn't work and I got again the previous error message.
I hoped to get the problem solved with new Telegram updates but currently I have the last update and still doesn't work (I also have Telegram X last update but it doesn't work too).
My question to you: is there a way to update Google Play Services without messing up the Cobalt fix?
I tried searching on the forum to find any information on the topic but did not find anything useful.

Calendar entries all vanished
After a restart I have no calendar entries. Any ideas? I was messing around with one entry before I restarted to reset my WiFi calling connection. Have no idea what happened.
I have a backup through Outlook USB connection to my PC. I will have to set Link to prioritize PC when I sync. Otherwise, I might delete everything on the PC.

Q10 Restore Full Backup Other Device Blackberry Link
I have my Blackberry Q10 set up just the way i like it
I did a complete backup using Blackberry Link Software
Two questions - at least
1) If i get another different Q10 can i restore my phone fully as it is set up with software to the new BB Q10 ?
2) Can i do a similar restore to a BB Z10 ?

BB Leap brightness broken
Says "Brightness adjustment has been disabled for battery saving mode"
But battery fully charged!
Restarted several times but no help.

Text Chats Are Auto Deleting
Over the past few weeks, my text messages(chats), all of them, have been removed from the Hub.
Is there a setting that I may have accidentally changed to have this happen?
This is a Passport that I've had since the Passport was launch. It is running 10.3.3.2137 software release or 10.3.3..3216 OS.
I'm not worried about the lost content, it's just annoying this is happening.

BB Q10 constantly resetting itself to factory settings. Help needed!
Q10 BB running 10.3.3.3216, OS installed from my PC. Carrier Verizon. My device re-initializes itself every time it loses power or i do a manual reset. ALL information gets deleted (apps, e-mails, BB ID, texts) and I have to reload everything from backup.
Upon device reset, OS software listed as 10.3.3.3216. As soon as i turn on wireless, OS software listed as 10.3.3.2137.
What can I do?

How to get browser to produce crash report???
How do you get BlackBerry's browsers to produce crash report(s)?
I stopped in at a LYFT kiosk and they cannot seem to figure out how to get the crash reports from the BlackBerry Browsers to know what is going on?
I am using BlackBerry Classic (Q20)
According to About under the "Settings" area:
Model No SQC100-4, Software release 10.3.3.2129
OS Version : 10.3.3.3204. BUILD : 903214
Webkit version 10.3.3.66
Browser Version 10.3.3.16
Lyft Ride-sharing has a way to load their service by web browser and GPS by going to :
"Ride.Lyft.com"
It is supposed to load a map in the browser where you can set a 'PIN' on the map for your location. You then select the mobile no. your account is linked to, and accept their txt confirmation code. Then you input that and the device is supposed to allow you to order LYFT without any apps.
On the Q20 it loads for a split second and crashes. They called tech support at LYFT and they want the crash report to know what's going on. They are willing to work with me on this but I need to find a way to get them something tangible to work with in for form of crash report.

Passport for Key2
I will admit.... I'm considering getting a Key2 when I see a great deal on it, and retiring the passport. I love the BB10 OS... and I don't really use apps, I'm mostly a computer user anyways. So there isn't any one particular reason why. If anything whats bugging me most is the camera on the passport is so slow to snap.

Is there a built in way to block numbers? If YES how do I do it?

Spam calls are driving me crazy, in particular ocming from area code "201"... if i could block by area code that would be amazing, because the rest of the number changes.
